I enjoy using my creativity to provide unique solutions. Sagemont Church in Houston, Texas recently began a fundraising initiative to raise money for a new youth building. I came up with the idea to take their logo, which features an empty tomb and cross they built on their grounds, and create a beautiful necklace. I laser cut each necklace out of zebra wood in various shapes.
Initially, I made several of these and donated them to the church bookstore, to be sold as an Easter item, with all the proceeds from the sales going toward the fundraiser. The youth became involved with the sales and they have become quite popular very quickly.
